The work ‘Turn Right (Orange)’ has never been shown publicly, even though it was created in 2017. Everything seems to swirl in a circle to the right, a turning movement that is also referred to in the title.

Interestingly, we find it more pleasant when a picture opens up towards the right-hand edge than towards the left, which is attributed to our reading habits (from left to right). Movement, rotation and swirling, organic forms can be found in many of the painter's works, but rarely with such a strong circular movement as in ‘Turn Right (Orange)’.
