Beate Köhne (b. Germany) is an abstract oil painter whose practice focuses on movement and dynamics through the use of floating colour on a white canvas. In her process, Köhne’s method corresponds with the subject, from observational studies outdoors to working with various painting and pouring methods in her studio.
